Hello there eager travellers!

My name is Katie and I am eager to pop my travelling cherry!

I am eager to travel to Aussie and do a 6 month working visa. I'm looking to go over in May? Is that a good time for people wanting a job?

They're only some downsides;
- I don't really have a clue how to get this started.
- I'm not sure how much money I would to take over as I would be hoping to make money over there!
- I would like a travelling buddy, as my best friends can't come due to commitments, mainly because apparently i'm too nice and I can see something like 'Wolf Creek' kinda happening haha. Have you ever met up with people you didn't know and travelled with them?

I would like to stay in Perth, Sydney and many more places! Oh and going to Steve Irwin's Zoo is on the most do list!

I have many more queries but I don't wanna bore you just yet!

So bye bye for now x:)

hey katie

awesome choice !!!

im a first time travler too and will be heading to toronto in march

i live in Melbourne australia so i highly recommend a visit here perth is also another excellent choice !!! i personally think sydney is expensive but good to travel and experience

depends on where your coming from in regards to your visa i highly suggest you get that sorted as it does take time to get approved

money wise prob looking at maybe $35 per day but im sure you can do budget cuts and back packing is also an awesome idea the back packers here are pretty good with great variety of cultures here ive stayed at a few when traveling around here

i hope that helps :):)

Hi Katie, just to let you know 'backpackers' are what some of the Aussies call hostels :)
Take a look at this facebook page to find others in the same boat as you!
