Hey!
I've booked a 1 way ticket to Sydney, Australia for next year in December (as i'm finishing my teaching year first). Even though it's a long way away I cannot think of anything else since I booked it! I'm really sociable and don't doubt for a second i'll get on great with people.. but just want to know how easy is it to actually meet people and get to know them? I suppose i'm just terrified of getting over there and being isolated completely. Does it largely depend on who's in your dorm, what size rooms are best to get? How long do people tend to stay in hostels for and how easy is work to find?
I've got so many questions haha oops! If anybody has been there or has experience of it and what they done when travelling alone then please share it with me, any advice is more than welcome!
