Health, happiness, and safe travels to the entire Travellerspoint Community.
Happy New Year!!!!
Could anyone in the Caribbean or South Pacific please send us some warmth? It's -18.5C here, snow on the ground, but sunny. Sun good. Time for a rum drink.....

Happy New Year, TPers! :)

Beerman, you can take all the warmth you want from South East Asia.

I know I'm late again to the party...

But, may everyone have a very Happy New Year and lots of travels!! (Hey, this is Travellerspoint after all.)

I remember bemoaning last summer's constant heat wave and rather looking forward to a bit of cold and snow for the holidays. Well, we got what we wished for and now it can go away. I think the blizzard, 29.5 hours without electricity (meaning no heat or lights), 47F in the house and 2 large snow drifts in the main road (blocking our escape from the driveway to a local hotel) kinda changed my mind about 'looking forward' to winter.

I agree with Beerman - someone PLEASE send a bit of sun and heat our way.

I'd happily send you our heat. Over 40 °C here today..

Happy New Year everyone - after a horrendously SH*T 2012 ( l won't go into it l don't want you slitting your wrists) however for me 2013 is year of new beginnings, new opportunities and making my own luck!

So booked my first photography course, joining a choir and taking ski lessons!

Oh and l wish the rain would go away l will soon be growing webbed feet!

Sounds like a good start to 2013 Purdy!! :)

Happy New Year to all from Norway as well. I only have one small wish for 2013 and that is that it be a spamfree one....

Does sound like a good plan, H! Kris and I joined the YMCA last Friday so I can get back my body strength (they have a POOL!) and my only trip out of the house won't just be to the grocery store or a doc appointment. We're going tomorrow (Saturday) for our first visit. Then, I can swim Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6am, then go back in the afternoon to pick up Kris and we both can swim. It's going to take a bit before I'm ready for the work-out machines but I'll get there with the help of the trainers.

Sam, too late for being spam-free. Just deleted two.

I'll send you some snow and cold. Granted it was only about 10F this morning. But after getting a $485 propane bill and $85 electric bill - I'll take the heat. Next propane bill will show up in about 4 weeks. No propane bills during summer and electric stays about the same even with the A/C running. Can't wait until we get some -20F temps. Oh wait, I CAN!!!
