Hey Guys

Ive got an Oz Experience ticket - from Sydney to Cairns and im looking to jump on it in the next few months(once ive saved a few pennies):(

Anyone done it? with Oz Exp?

Just wondering if there are any comments on it before i go do it.

Kinda debating - do - dont do it?

Also if anyone else is doing the same thing soon - give me a shout!

cheers

look forward to the feed back!

The consensis seems to be to avoid it unless you're a real party person. At least from what I've been reading on these boards, haven't been personally. If you didn't pay for the ticket that might tip the tables as well... free stuff is always slightly better for some reason... can't quite place why

My wife did a section of that trip with them and enjoyed it. It was slightly different than their usual trip though since this was for partners of their travel business which she at the time was.

I don't quite agree with JMJimmy though on the choice of words regarding avoiding it, but you do have to be the right type of person to enjoy an ozex trip. A lot of backpackers are and love their trips, but there are also a lot that don't and do it all themselves and also love their trips. It comes down to your mindset and what you are after during your time in Australia I think :) If it's free, then certainly no harm done

Quite right Sam, avoid was a bit harsh :) I couldn't quite think of a term to replace it... consider carefully? not sure. Anyway, I'm actually considering it for a very small portion of my trip if the price is right, simply because it's something I wouldn't do normally. I'm still hesitant though, yours are the first comments I've read that have been positive. All I've read so far has been less than favourable. If your wife is around I'd love to hear a little more on her experience.
