Hi! I am from Venezuela!

I was in the US under a J1 visa last summer and I made a stupid mistake, I was accused of shoplifting at the century 21 store in manhattan it was a sunglasses around 90 dollars, I was taken to the police station and the police officer gave me a Desk Appearence ticket, it happened 3 days before my flight back to Caracas, so I got a lawyer he went on my behalf to the court date and got me an ACD it will be dismissed tomorrow may 3rd, I called last week to the court and they told me I could send someome to pick up the disposition tomorrow, now today I called then to confirm and they told me it will be ready by monday, the problems is that my friend will be coming to venezuela on monday so He wont be able to go and pick up the disposition, however he will try tomorrow friday, I will apply for my J1 visa again and my program will start on may the 22nd, my lawyer told me that once the case is dismissed and sealed tomorrow will not be any problems since my records will be clear and an ACD is not a conviction under immigrations law, my questions is what happens if i dont get the disposition tomorrow? I was checking the website of the court and I can get like a summary of my case, but it will be enough for the embassy? I really need the disposition?I have my visa appointment next may 9th.

Why isn't your lawyer answering these questions?...

Hi I'm just looking for some advice regarding a visa application with a criminal record.
I am looking to get married in Florida probably summer 2015, I have a criminal record of criminal damage when I was aged 18, I got six months imprisonment at 22 for actual bodily harm serving only 6 weeks on good behaviour and also stupidly I got a caution in 2011 for common assault which to be honest I know nothing about as it was due to a reaction from medication for which the police officers had sympathy hence the caution.
I have been arrested a few times over the years for domestic issues with an ex partner for which I was never charged or cautioned.
I am now 33 and from the uk.
I hope you can give me some advice.

Thanks
