Hey everyone,

I am leaving for Thailand on 26th March and staying in Bangkok for 3 nights before going slightly north to start a new job for 6 months. I finish in september and plan on travelling Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. If anyones around or has any advice/ tips would be great to hear from you. Doing this completely alone and wont lie I am more nervous about doing this than the 6 months I did in Afghan.

Hope to hear from someone soon :-)

I wouldn't be too nervous about curling up in an Afghan for 6 months neither. Just kidding.

Don't worry about going to Thailand. As I'm sure you've read in this website time and time again - there are literally tens of thousands of backpackers roaming around Southeast Asia. Many of them are solo, most are figuring it out as they go along, and very few ever run into any problems.
You'll be fine, and especially after 6 months of living there you will realise how easy it is to get around.

Hiya, thanks for the reply. Im sure all will be fine. I have no set plan after working and am in northern thailand for the first 6 mths (Ayutthaya) so will probs travel around there for a bit then head south. Everyones talking about the full moon parties so I guess ill head to one of those at some point. Theres so much I dont want to miss, I dont know where to start.
