Hi Richard, there are many accommodations on Poppies Lane. One close to the beach is Kuta Puri. It's just a few steps from the beach. If you enter Poppies Lane from the street at the beach side (McDonald's), it's only a few steps, you'll see it on your left. It's also close to an internet cafe (between McD's & Kuta Puri). It has a swimming pool in a garden, and a few types of rooms. And it is not expensive.

Good luck and have a great vacation!

I stayed at the Legian Beach Resort/hotel which was nice. It had one large pool and a smaller one with a swim up bar, and then it backed onto the beach (all the beach traders where not allowed to enter the hotel grounds) It had a nice bar/restaurant as well, plus massage, diving lessons etc. Can't remember how much it cost, but i don't think it's in the low budget range. It has chalets set in a nice garden complex or an apartment complex.

Hope you have a good time whereever you end up.

Hi Richard,

I agree with Zags, there are many accommodations on Poppies Lane and I think it's hard to fix you. If you are on the backpackers's way you may look for your accommodation at Poppies Lane I or II. It's about Rp60,000 to Rp80,000 per night for sure you can find.

But you are not the backpackers's way you may stay at Legian Beach Hotel for $90 single as Daveh said.

Enjoy your holyday and safe traveling!
