I went for a walk at lunchtime today in North Sydney, and passed a middle aged man who only had one arm.

I thought to myself, "the poor bugger, I wonder how he feels only having one arm? I wonder if he's upset about only having one arm, or whether he counts his blessings because he still has one arm?"

Is your glass half full or half empty?

To answer your question James:

Like everyone else, I have days where I cant even see the glass, but for the most part I'm a "half-full" person. What's the point in dwelling on what you dont have? Although, that's easy for me to say - if i was minus one of my extrememities it might be hard to dwell on anything else.

I suppose if you are a "whole" person on the inside you can see the good in most things.

I always use the same answer to that question... "Depends on if it was full or empty in the first place" If it was full and half of it went missing, then it's half empty, but if it was empty to begin with and you pour it half full, then it's half full.
Makes sense to me..
