Hey i was planning to do my internship almost one year ago and it's a real coincidence, cause i had the same dilemma. Brazil or India?
Of course they are two totally different countries, with a different socio-economic background, totally great traveling destinations!
I picked Brazil, i met amazing and openminded people, i got easily used to their everyday life and i had a blast! It was really the time of my life...
The food, the warm people, the climate. I would definitely pick that again even though, my internship is already long gone. India should be interesting too, but just check Brazil right now. It's the middle of international attention and will stay there until 2016 maybe more! If you need more tips let me know. I was living in Porto Alegre which means ''happy harbor'' and it's close to the sea. My experiences there were priceless, i was hanging out with locals, and meeting international people every day! I even have a basic level in Portuguese now! Other cities that you MUST-VISIT are of course Rio, Florianopolis AND Sao Paulo!
Finally the decision is your but...just keep my advice in mind ;)))

cheers,
Fen

Wow ! Good question actually.
If you are in a mood to explore different culture and enjoy festivals , then India is the best option.

Honestly, I think that's a question better answered yourself... those are two extremely different locations with almost nothing historically/culturally in common outside the fact that they're both huge, incredibly diverse countries.

Perhaps you should first ask yourself what experience(s) you're looking for in a destination, then people can help you decide...

Cheers,
Terry

I am very much clear with you ands i belive nothing best can come after this. True expereince count.

In my idea Brazil is bit more modern kind of thing while India is still lacking (not in progess or so) . Both have diffrenet culure for sure. In brazil you may find same culutre everythwree while India there is diversity of it. It's the travllers chocie what you want to have the taste of yours. :)
