It's now offical. I am blowing off the TP get together in favour of another week of paid holiday ... er, I mean hard work... in Paris, France.

I actually am a little bummed about not getting to see you all in person. Though the sun is shining in Paris, so I can't be too upset.

Have a drink for me, everyone!

Greg

Paris... Montreal... Paris... Montreal.... Oooohhhh, there's a tough call!!! Have you found the local laundamat yet???? Got enough underwear???

We'll miss you, Greg!!! Send post cards from Paris so we know you are really there and not just trying to avoid all of us!!!!

Actually, as it is a business trip, I took the lazy route and just gave the laundry to my hotel to do. It was outrageously expensive though. For 4 pairs of socks, 4 pairs of underware, 5 undershirts and 2 shirts, they charged me 60.40 Euros. Luckily I'm not paying for it!

Have a great weekend everyone! Sorry I can't be there. Be sure to act like ignorant tourists, get rip-roaring drunk and make the people of Montreal look down on you in distain! That's what I try to do whereever I go.

HEY ALL!!!!

Sadly, I must report that the North American TP Meet-Up has come to a close - at least for most of the attendees...

But, I think I can speak for everyone when I say we had a great time!!!!! The total attendance count was NINE, which is the largest flocking to date!!! I'm sure some new blogs will be started about our adventures and I know some very interesting - if not possibly embarrassing - pix wii be uploaded. (If anyone else ever meets up with SeeTheSky (Evan)... Please, do not let him near anything that can make fire (matches, lighters, or plastic straws)! )

The list of people who attended:

Sam, Pete, Tina (Tway), Anne (Areinstein), Quan (Q_Zhang), Evan (SeeTheSky), Viv (Mtlgal), Kris (Beerman) and me.

Anyway, details will be forecoming - but rest assured - I know we are all willing to do it again!!! ;) And, Montreal is a beautiful city!!!

Tina - thank you very much for being our tour guide and sharing your city with us!!! (Next time - I'll meet you at the top of the observation "mountain"!! ;) )

Isa heads off to reserve the pack mule for the trip to the top!!

It's quite appropriately raining this morning - the perfect Monday-after-the-weekend-before weather. I wish you guys were all still here...

But what a fabulous time! :) It was a pleasure being your tour guide, although I kinda just pointed out the way. Special thanks to Sam who got us back downtown yesterday after 2 Cosmopolitains threw my sense of direction off a bit.

I knew there was a reason to take a cab back to the hotel and let Sam keep his Metro map!!!!! And Tina - you lush!!!!!!! ;) But, you were very good at pointing!!!

After boarding the plane - our flight was delayed by about 45 minutes due to bad weather in Chicago. All flights into O'Hare (from everywhere) were pushed back until the storms calmed down. We drove home in the rain too. Today is just bleak... :(

Isa grabs the still packed suitcase and heads back to Montreal!!!
