To all Montrealers, has anyone thought of a location? If we're going for pubs/bars, St-Sulpice might be a good place to get together.

Welcome to the club!

Sounds appropriate enough for me!! Toilet paper can be very versatile!

I was thinking Hurleys, because it has a comfy inside with not so loud music so we don't have to sit and stare at each other....plus if it's nice there's an outdoor terrace. St. Sulpice is a good pick as well (for the terrace alone), but if it's raining, the indoor part of it leaves a few things to be desired (cramped, loud, bad music).

I was thinking Hurley's too - they have that secluded room off on the left which is usually empty. A good place if we're a lot of people. Plus it's just a great place - great music, great beer, very laid back and very central. Being able to talk without shouting is a big plus, too.

I've never been to St. Sulpice. If everyone's staying downtown, St. Denis street may be a little bit more of a trek - not a lot more, though.

Hmm, not to brag or anything, but if all goes according to plan on my current project, the weekend of the 24th-25th I will be returning from 3 weeks in Paris, and about to head out for 2 weeks in San Francisco...

A quick stop in Montreal could be just what the doctor ordered!

Anne, there's only Trudeau airport left. Mirabel is closed now, and I have no idea what the third airport could possible be.
