Im 30 and making the move over to Aus in a few weeks!!

I guess they say, life begins at 30!! Didnt believe that saying from my older friends when they would tell me, But... they sure were right!!!

Hopefully some of you will be coming to Melb, so we can catch up. Be nice to have a support network over there!! Yes !! We are alot more mature, doesnt mean we dont wanna have some friends over there hahaha

HOLLA if you going to be there around the 20th

I'm from North east of England, from Stockton, but live up the road in Hartlepool, I have a friend who I used to work with , she done the same thing. But she from here, she now married and she has a room for me. So was thinking flying Perth maybe 30th May, in final year at uni, and have exam 26th.
But we are all same age, and tbh, it's a number, I want to do this experience to say I've done it. And like other post, none of mates have that same type of thing/hobbies love traveling.

Yea Sweden was just a city break, only decided 2 weeks ago to do Aus, on a contract job, that's ending soon so why not... Saying goes live once do what you can

Also if any interested ? Looking for work in Sydney in a bar/restaurant of some sort, and wouldn't mind getting a flat, I've been told its easy to rent out their just expensive, so if few want todo that then that's cool with me!

I took my first proper travelling trip (3 months) at 30

It was best decision I made, never once felt too old

Never too old to travel! Go for it :)

Do you think you'll travel again though hanaldinho?

Thanks for all you advice...

Great to hear from all the "older" people going travelling. Im 29 and leaving in 3 weeks to go travelling alone. Spending 6 weeks in Thailand, 8 weeks in Australia, 4 weeks in New Zealand and 5 weeks in South America. Very excited about the whole adventure. I was a bit worried too that I would be the oldest person in the hostels but the more I think about it the more I dont really care, whether people are nice and good fun has nothing to do with what age they are :)

Yes i've been continuing to travel Darren and most definitely intend to carry on exploring this amazing planet well into my geriatric years :-)

Enjoy the itinerary planning and have a wicked time!

I went travelling 6 years ago and have applied for an OZ WHV having just turned 30. Whilst travelling I met people of many ages from 18-60!
