Thanks so much Suzy:)
got that already lol!!

i am thinking abuot going with Oz Intro (give them a google) they are a company that you spend the first week with along with anyone else that has booked on
alot of poeple say its a waste of money but my cousin is just back from being with the and for the £400 approx you pay them you get;

-week of accomodation
-picked up from airport
-week full of activities
-help with bank account, CV and job searching
-help plan your trip after the week with them
-there to support you for the year your there

go have a look and let me know what you think
taking the advice of my cousin she did enjoy it and the money you pay them goes a long way!!

hello

this is what im looking to do do around late 2013 !!

I looked into that oz into thing and I was really interested but started to speak to friends who have travelled / travelling etc and they all said it wasn't worth it. They said that any hostel will help you get your tax card, bank card, medicare stuff and you always meet loadsa people in the hostels in general so I've now gone off the idea a little more - and I was worried they would all be 18 year olds fresh from school!!

haha thats a worry for me none stop....ill be old enough to be their mother lol

good points, am meeting up with my cousin anyway to discuss in more depth but think it might be good that you dont need to worry for that first week as everything planned out and you can just enjoy yourself but i totally understand what you mates are saying sometimes better just to go chatting!!

Hi, I'm from Plymouth you?

Might sound like a dumb question but whats a greyhound?
My brother lives in Adelaide so I was thinking going there for a week and then to brisbane as I want to do a tour of fraser island if you fancy it?
I do have to then find some work to help fund things lol

Yes I need work after that because I've heard your funds don't stretch too fair over there...
I'm from Leeds
I have a friend in Adelaide too so will b venturing there next year no doubt....
Greyhound is buses they do long day time n overnight travel good value for money as you can buy kmetres and like the package I've got 10,000km and 28days hostel for £1260 but apart from my flight from Perth to Brisbane that's how I'm gana do my travelling they do trip etc which u can swop km for also if u don't use then all the hostel will take it as payment! This way I will see the whole of oz rather than getting stuck in a city!
How r you planning on travelling around?
Anna x

I havent overly thought of a plan to be honest lol, I'm thinking now I might find a job in adelaide to start as I was going back there for xmas anyway and then start venturing as of new year.
My friend has just done it and he car shared and got buses and planes and just generally travelled that way, internal flights arent too expensive. I was thinking of hiring a campervan as well once i got a couple people involved and doing it that way too.
