Travel Insurance for one way trip!!

Hi everyone!

Hope someone can help!

I have just booked a one way trip to New Zealand on a WHV and I have purchased travel insurance via Admiral and I am very worried as Ive read that many of the insurance companies out there specifically for backpacks won't/don't cover you if you have a one way ticket! My problem is that in 12 months I don't know where in the world I will be and will not be cost effective booking a flight back to the UK from for example Sydney when I am in Singapore! Has anyone got any advise on this?

Have you read all small prints of your policy? You should read all that you are covered for and what not!

I did read all the terms and conditions before purchasing but in the summary under Meaning of words it defines a backpacking trip as needing a return ticket!
