hi,
i'm currently toying with the idea of going travelling around the beginning of june when i finish uni, for around 4 months as i'll need to come back for graduation, jobs etc. at the minute i really want to go to australia, new zealand, possibly fiji whilst i'm over there, definitely thailand, mainly the islands (ko phi phi, koh phangan, koh samui), then possibly Africa to volunteer and maybe over to LA. i realise i want to do a lot in a short space of time, so my trip will purely be travelling, seeing sights rather than working!
due to friends commitments and such i'll be travelling alone but the idea of it is daunting so i'd love to know if anybody has a similar idea to me or will be in these countries during this time!
so feel free to let me know

Hi! I'd like to be traveling around these same dates... although are your plan set on thailand and the islands? Mine is more toward central and south america since I'm currently in oregon, and i'm looking for a traveler buddy as well!

Hey! im going to be in thailand start of july im doing the indochina tour in june and will be back in bangkok for 5th july then i have no plans lol im travelling alone want to stay in thailand a month then mabey head through malaysia to singapore for september to head to new zealand on a years WHV! im booked to go but nervous going on my own as i have not travelled before but just going to hope for the best haha!! i would be up for doing fiji im 23 and taking a few years out to travel as long as possible! just hope to ffind people along the way to travel on with!!

Hey! Do you have a specific date you're flying to nz? Because I'm planning on stopping off there but would love to do Australia first. Fiji just looks like such a nice place and I figure if I'm over that side of the world why not I'd probably stay in Thailand around 3-4 weeks x

yeah my flight leaves singapore 3rd sept stopping in brisbane for a night then to auckland for the 4rth but i have 3 free flight date changes so would be willing to change just wanting someone else to travel with as its my first time lol yeah im the same may as well stop of while im over there do you have anything planned yet? x

that sounds good! Have you booked your flights through sta travel? I literally have nothing set in stone at the minute because I was originally going to go at the start of next year. But right now I think my plan is Thailand, Australia, New Zealand (with Fiji) then over to LA for a few weeks maybe, so I'll probably book my flights with sta. I've been into an sta travel shop and picked up some books but I need to get some flight quotes. In Thailand I mainly want to island hop after staying in Bangkok for a few days. But I'm flexible, once I'm somewhere I'll probably just go with the flow and just keep within my flight dates! x

Hi there Jenna and Jenn, How are you doing? I've planned my trip out for this summer as I will be visiting Thailand, Indonesia and maybe Laos. Seems like we have a lot of similar places in our agenda for thailand. Im leaving on June 22 and have my trip planned like this so far:
23-6 till 26-6: Phuket
26-6 till 01-7: Koh samui
01-7 till 3-7: Phangan
03-7 till 07-7: Bankok and maybe North
07-7 till 12-7 Phuket
12 7 till 16-7 Jakarta
16-7 till 29-7 Bali and surrounding islands, probably Lombok and Gili air
29-7 till 02-8 Jakarta and maybe the thousend islands
If you can add any suggestions or have any idea, if you would like to catch up somewhere along the road, feel free to reply

yeah i got my flights through sta travel was 921 for a round the world ticket although mines stops in new zealand as i dont plan on coming home for a few years or just travel as long as possible!! your trip was similar to my original one but my mate pulled out so skipped LA and just heading straight to asia, im doing the indochina tour in june that i booked with sta also it takes me through cambodia vietnm and laos then im in bangkok for july and have no clue where im going or what im doing lol i need to find friends first whos willling to travel on the thought of doing it on my own is daunting!! xx

Im not sure when i'll be in august lol maybe malaysia then onto singapore, i have no set plans i just have to be in singapore for september to get my flight to new zealand x
