Hi guys

I am planning a 4 month trip to India and Nepal in september. I plan to fly into Delhi and move around form there, finally hitting Goa in December. I have some things I really want to do while I ma there so need advice on how to do it please.

1) I plan to climb Everest base camp. Is it best to book while I am there, and how much does it cost to book this? I have seen companies that do it from the UK but it seems far too expensive.

2) I am looking to do a yoga retreat for a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone could advise a good and cheap place to go. Again it is very expensive to book in the UK and ma looking for something that suits my budget.

3)I am planning on doing some work in a school or within a group working with kids. Can anyone advise a decent place to go for this?

My budget for 4 months is around £2500. Advice on this as well would be appreciated as well as the must see sights in India/Nepal/Sri Lanka.

Thanks

Joel

Also I've a plan to visit Nepal and India but from China. The route I had already passed in 2006. Purpose of travel - to visit the holy places of Himalayas, the practice of mystic yoga, and "kora" around the sacred Mount Kailash ...

Hello Joel,

How are you :)

I am Vicky from Jaipur (India) n I am a tour operator.

Glad to know you are planning for India trip but as you have mentioned the places you want to visit within the India for 4 months.
frankly speaking £2500 are not enough if you want to stay in deluxe hotels. in this budget for this long period either you have to stay in home stay or in standard class of hotels.

and you can not choose flights to travel within the cities. you have to travel by bus or by train.

for any suggestion or help you can inbox me.

Look forward to hear back from you soon.

Thanks & regards,

I dont know the details you need. But please do ask some body who has done this before instead of coming to India and then inquiring.

2) I am looking to do a yoga retreat for a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone could advise a good and cheap place to go. Again it is very expensive to book in the UK and ma looking for something that suits my budget.

Kottakal Arya Vaidya Shala in Kerala is one of the most trust Ayurvedic Establishment. They manufacture their own medicines, publishes research reports, have major hospitals and is trusted by many in India. They do have Ayurvedic retreats. Their cost will be minimum and the quality will be the best. But luxury might be low.

3)I am planning on doing some work in a school or within a group working with kids. Can anyone advise a decent place to go for this?

Sorry, I dont know.
