where's the best place to start for a first-time-backpacker

Heloo there,

I'm traveling to Thailand in early/mid November 2013 solo with Thai-intro for a week ( is this any good) maybe more depends how i feel at the
time, and then afterwards booking my flight whilst in Thailand to Australia. But im not sure where the best place to start off as i do want to work over there preferably as soon as i get there.. either farm work to rake some money in or bar work or waitress. Im already doing the RSA course online , saves me doing it out there... Just need help and advice on wheres the best place to find work and also if my plan sounds decent.

You'll not know until you get out there - just be prepared to be flexible with your plans and if things aren't working out as you hoped, move on. Worst thing I watched people do was wait around for a job that might come up. You sound like you'll go with the flow - that's the best way to be.
