Ever noticed when you first learn a word it crops up everywhere?

Or something happens to you and suddenly it seems like it's happening to everyone, it's everywhere on TV, songs are all about it?

Is this a coincidence or do you just notice those things more? like your hyper sensitive to it?

I went to a Kabbalah class once and this is exactly what we talked about. The topic was related to the many things that surround us, people, animals, buildings, vehicles, even words and we seem to be so unaware of in our life, just passing by without giving any of it a second thought. All of it has always been there but we get so caught up in our own little world that become almost trained, uncapable of noticing. The moral to the class was to open your mind and open your eyes to finally "SEE". It was pretty inspiring class.

One word that I had never heard before and this last week I've heard at least three times is TOUCHE! (used in the context of GOOD ONE!, like a pad in the back). Maybe the word has been there all along but I just noticed it.

Have you noticed when someone gets a new car, you start seeing that car everywhere on the road too? It is called "opening your senses", "becoming aware", according to the Kabbalah teachings and obviously what one must strive for to become a more sensible, knowledgeable individual...

Yes, it is actually pretty neat to realize that you ARE becoming aware...according to some, that is just the beginning of something greater. A lot of times, I too get caught up on my daily routine but I try my hardest to notice the smallest things but it is rather difficult. You have to train yourself to do it. Recently I started noticing how many ducks are in a lake near my home...they are there all the time when I drive to work and it took me probably two years to noticed them.
