i always break up trips away with 2/3 day breaks to Europe. That way you look forward to going away, but it never seems so far on the horizon. Get yourself away for a cheapy break in June/July

Hey Eve, when it is time for you to go Peru, let me know. I may just run into you there! I strongly suggest you do the Inka Trail and if you can pull it off, go to Lake Titicaca between Peru and Bolivia. But when it is time, I can give you all the tips you need about Lima and Cuzco. ;)

Hey Anne,

Only just read this now. That would be great! Will definitely take you up on that in a few months.

And of course, should you find yourself shipwrecked on the west coast of Ireland or anything you know who to call!!

WOW!!Have to ask...how much money do you need for your travels? That's a whole lot of countries!!How long will you be on road?I'm jealous...;)How much did you pay for the tickets?

Hey Minna,

I'm going for a year. I'm leaving Ireland with about 10,000 euro hopefully (that's assuming i can sell my car as well!).

No ticket got yet - im still debating the advantages/disadvantages of the RTW ticket. Although Peter has been advising me to go with it, so I think I will. It would probably just end up costing me a fortune to get flights as I go. I'm estimating that a ticket with 15 stops is going to set me back over 2,000 euro!

I got lots to organise before I head away. I bought some deadly new hiking boots at the weekend. I was telling the guy in the shop all about the trip and he was giving me lots of helpful advice and tips. Talking to him about it made it all suddenly very real in my head (up to now it's all been a vague plan) and I got very excited this wknd about the whole thing!!

Dont be jealous! Come with me!!
