My husband and I are arriving in Jordan on the 23rd Feb for about 9 days (will either start our tour 23 Feb or about 9 days later depending on other travels) and are wondering if anyone would like to travel with us?
We are in our mid-late 20s, from New Zealand, and almost half way through a 4 month trip around the world. We're coming from Egypt and have also been to Turkey recently.
We've got a few ideas about traveling around the country but are flexible and have heard that it can be good to hire a car so would be keen to do this and share costs, or else take public transport. Generally we are budget travelers, staying in cheap hotels or backpackers and taking public transport (and heading to Europe next so need to save some funds for that!).
With our recent trips in Turkey and Egypt we've done diving and seen quite a lot of ruins so they aren't high on our list to see although Petra is a must (and we've heard it takes 2 days), we are probably most interested to see Wadi Rum, Wadi Mujib, the Dead Sea, maybe do some hiking (we'd love to see Mt Nebo)? But those are just some ideas, we are willing to go with the flow a bit!
Looking forward to hearing from anyone keen or with any tips
Cheers
Rachael
