Im heading off to Thailand on 26th March solo and whilst Ive no problems being on my own I know things are fun with others around!. Getting seriously excited now! Im in Bangkok 27th - 31st march if anyone else is around and fancy seeing some sights and having a few drink. I then head north for 6months as I have a job in the old capital but I finish in September and im travelling after that. Probs going to go to Chaing mai and see some of the north then head down to the gulf. Hoping to see vietnam too. I have no plans and time is on my side so again if anyone else is travelling that time and fancys some company let me know.
Have a little look at my profile if youd like to know more about me
Nice to meet you here, I would suggest you visit India as well since you are in this part of the world. Sep to Jan will be a great time to visit south of India.
im sure its lovely but sadly not on my agenda. I have my travel plans already but thanks anyway
You are welcome Katie, just in case you plan to visit, you know you got a friend here
I'm also flying out to Bangkok on 26th March, and will be staying with a friend for a couple of weeks. I'll be heading to Chiang Mai for a while afterwards though, so it would be good to meet up if you have some time off from work!
are you staying in Bangkok for a bit or heading straight to Chaing mai?
I'm not entirely sure yet.
My friend has already been to Bangkok, so I think likely we'll stay there for a day or so to sleep off the flight, and then we're going to head south to the islands. Once he's headed back (to work in) England, I'm going to go to Chiang Mai.
To be honest I haven't put a lot of thought into timings, but I think this seems reasonable..
What kind of work are you doing in the old capital?
cool well I land early 27th so if your still there then let me know, im there until the 31st. I am working with an elephant charity. my back round is animal care so going back in to that for 6mths. after that no set plan just traveling thailand and vietnam.
How long are you travelling for? Why chaing mai?
