This thread is marked as being about Melbourne

So I'm off solo to Melbourne in a few weeks! :) Not gonna lie bit nervous as is first time to Oz. Anyone got any advice in what to see/do in Melbourne?

Also looking for work, anyone been there/know how's best to go about it?

Thank you!

Luke :)

I've lived in Melbourne for 6 years, so I've obviously never been a tourist here but hopefully I can help! On first thoughts I'd suggest seeing Federation Square and Flinders Street Station. The Eureka tower, crown casino, docklands, Melbourne zoo or Weribee zoo, st kilda beach, phillip island penguins and koalas, Queen Victoria Markets, the nightlife is great in general. There's plenty to do and see. I'm not sure where you're from, but Melbourne is expensive. And at the moment it's hot (30 degrees all this week). my housemate moved here from America and she just handed out resumes when she got here. Jobs will be easier to find out of the city. If you need any more help or advice let me know!
