I'm Rhianne from England and I'm planning a trip to go interrailing around Europe for 3 weeks at the end of June 2013 . I would love a buddy to join me as most of my friends are still at uni and/or can't afford it so I'm looking for people around my age (20) who want to go TRAVELLING and SIGHTSEEING not out every night partying as much fun as that may seem. I would prefer a female, but any mature young guys welcome too.
My main destinations are The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Scandinavia - may have to cut it down a little (although very reluctant) so that there's enough time to enjoy each country! I've kind of gestimated that 3 weeks in Europe will cost around £1800 - that's to be comfortable and also includes £250.00 emergency money.
These are my calculations so if anyone has any advice as to how to cut the costs down or whether it's going to be a hell of a lot more expensive then please let me know!!
£305.00 - 3 Week Global Ticket (under 25)
£525.00 - Accommodation at £25 p/d
£210.00 - Food at £10.00 p/d - my plan is to get a hostel with a free continental breakfast buffet and pinch a few things for lunch aswel so this is probably very low food costs...will probably need more but food isn't the highest thing on my list!
£315.00 - Activities at £15.00 p/d - some days it will be cheaper, some other days depending on what I do will be more expensive
£100.00 - Return on the ferry from England which might not be applicable to some - also will have to look at prices to get to Scandinavia and back.
£100.00 - Extra Spending e.g. small gifts, sending postcards, going out for a posh dinner one night etc.
£250.00 - Emergency back-up money just in case I end up blowing my funds.
So anyone who is interested PLEASE let me know! This trip is a taster for my world trip that I'm doing next year and my mum is stressing out at the fact that I might be interrailing on my own..so anyone who has the same ideas and in the same situation then message me!!
