How long to wait before applying for multiple entry?

Travel Forums Europe How long to wait before applying for multiple entry?

Hi,

I am Indian with a UK tourist visa valid for six months.

I have also applied and received "schengen visa from switzerland consulate". However, the schengen visa I have been stamped for is 'single entry'.

Can I apply for multiple entry again through the same consulate or another schengen country? If so, when can I apply? Do I have to wait until the schengen visa stamped period is over?

Please help.

Thanks,
Sundhar

I don't know much about this topic as I live in European Union, so I don't need a visa for that. :D
But I made some research and find that, so I thought it may be helpful for you.

Single-entry visas : Allows uninterrupted stay. Once the person departs from the Schengen territory, he/she can't enter again without obtaining a new visa.

So from that I understand that you can make the visa again whenever you want, you don't have to wait until your single-entry visa period is over.

This webpage was actually really helpful, so maybe it helps you out a bit with your questions. I can't put the link here. But I put in the google search bar "schengen visa single entry rules" and it was the first one that came up (the webpage is immihelp). :)
