What happens when YOU need to be at the airport at say, 5am in the morning?

Do you stay up all night, worried that you won't get up in time? OR Do you get a few hours sleep, possibly already dressed ready for the flight?

I have given up on early morning flights. I find they always spoil my last night in a place. I always fly after lunchtime when i fly home. Also, i always try to arrive at destinations in the afternoon these days, i hate arriving somewhere new when it's really early, or really late. I'm quite lucky living only an hour from Heathrow because it means i normally have quite a few options with flight times.

I'm early birdie anyhow so waking up and getting flight early ain't that big problem for me.Though I feel really tired while on my way to airport but once in airport I start feeling better!;)So no problems with the early morning flights.

I've developing a habit of falling asleep during take-off, so I don't really mind if I absolutely have to catch an early morning flight.

You can sleep when your dead;)
I like very early flights, they usually aren't as full as the 8-9am flights. Besides people with children HATE the early ones which makes it the very best time to fly:)!

Okay Warren Zevon... Though we agree with that completely - and the lack of children on early flights.

We try to get a bit of sleep, never being enough for Mr. Isa and too distracting (the sleep that is) for Mrs. Isa. We like early morning get-aways and late returns to make the most of our time "abroad".

I usually spend the last hours "at home" preparing last minute things until late at night... so when the flight is early in the morning... well, then I don't sleep a lot (everything is ready, though )

I'm usually too excited to fall asleep when I'm going somewhere and I feel I have to check everything twice so I don't forget anything.
