Hello,

Portugal is a very nice country. I have in several places in this country.
Although I have been only for 2 days in Lisboa, I enjoyed very much.
First thing you can do there is to take a walk in the beautiful city centre and enjoy a nice coffee with the traditional Nata-pastry near the seaside. Then you can visit the old city district-Alfama with their traditional tram that take you on the top of the city, where you can have spectacular views.
Some thing you should not miss is definitely the Belem Tower, St. George Castle, Patque das Nacoes and many other places..
Try to find traditional coffee shops with many delicious pastries and small restaurants where local people go where you can eat large amount of food for a small amount of money.
You will be definitely surprised with the prices. Coffee costs only 0,50cent!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy!

Hi there,

I'm Portugues, from Lisbon, I'm a tour guide but I'm not trying to sell you anything, just to help you :)

Lisbona is a quite old city but at the same time quite modern.
Depending of your age I will be able to tell you a few things.

Independently of your age:
"must see" - Rossio, Alfama and Bairro Alto (neighborhoods in Lisbon) by walking around with a leaflet guide you can get at the tourist office you will have some fun and you will take great pictures in the evening, when the weather is nice, you can go to one of the many many terraces (ex: Portas do Sol) and there are many people having drinks

"must do": eat a "Pastel de Belém", is a kind of custard cake (around 1€); take a picture from the Santa Justa Lift (from here you will have a wonderful view over Lisbon

Have fun in Lisbon
take car,
David
