Hi all,

I'm not sure if you are able to view other people's trips/itineraries as I am new to this site.

If you can, could you look at my various destinations and recommend accommodation. My partner and I are after something cheap but not nasty.

Your help is much appreciated.

Where is this itinerary? There is no reason for you not to type here.

I am not sure whether you can view people's trips when you friend them. Like I said, I'm trying to get to know this site and how it can work for me :)

The map portion of the trip is publicly visible (WomBatt: you can access that through people's profile: top right, immediately under the photos - direct link), since the planner is built on top of the travel map. (I think further privacy controls for how much information is public by default are high on the todo list for the planner.)

All the notes and bookmarks are private only, with other people only getting access if you invite them to collaborate.

Well, I would happily try and help if you provide your itinerary (and the direction by Sander to this map does not work for me).

WomBatt, I had troubles viewing maps over the weekend, too but that has thankfully been fixed. Are you now able to view the following link? (this is the trip plan mentioned above)

tahli.robbins, you've got quite a lot of destinations with very specific time requirements (overnight only), by the looks of things. Have you had a look at the accommodation on TP? It might be easier to search for exactly what you need rather than follow general recommendations that don't cover some of the smaller towns on your trip. Good luck with your planning.

KellieBarnes - the link gives no map.

tahli.robbins - KellieBarnes notes 'you've got quite a lot of destinations with very specific time requirements (overnight only)' -
I trust you have factored in travelling time.
Use me or lose me - provide your itinerary in writing.

Hi WomBatt,
As the link does go to a map, I am hoping we can find another way to fix this for you.
Are you still able to view your own map? What browser are you using? Have you had this problem with any other maps? Can you see mine, for example?

Irrespective of what browser - Chrome,IE or Firefox - your links do not lead to a map and I am really not a bit concerned about resolving the map matter.
It appears the original poster, whether new to this forum or forums generally, is not concerned with further interaction and the assistance originally requested. I am certainly not expending further time. Best wishes.

Hello Tahli
Seems you get all sorts of comments here in the community forums:)
We usually stay at a Citadines hotel if there is one in the town we visit as we find these clean, comfortable (usually a bit small, bit adequate) and most have tea/coffee making facilities. Most are about 3 stars and cost approx. AUD$100 per night per person on average. Some destinations are more expensive especially in peak times like July/August (e.g. Paris approx AUD$150pp).

Have a good trip!
