It is a bit short so you will have to choose,
If you go for ricefields and culture maybe Ubud and surrounding area would be nice.
Hire a guide and check on internet what you want to see
For the nightlife you will have to stay in the south.
Being alone is no problem.
ok, Ubud sounds good but i still would like to find accommodation on the beach but not on a too crowded one....Should i go to travel agency to hire a guide? how about rental of vehicles? what kind of roads are there, can ordinary car be used or you need a jeep or 4 x 4?
I'd say the same, it'll be too short.
You have to make a choice on which part of Bali you will be staying.
Ubud and Kuta are the popular choices.
You can check available accommodations in the general booking for hotels over the internet.
For sure, it will be alright to be alone having a trip in Bali.
Enjoy!

Just saw your post after I posted.
Yes, there are many travel agents in Bali.
You can also arrange through your hotel later when you arrive.
Bali roads are mostly accessible with ordinary vehicles.
Rentals are available, either cars or motorcycles - it's your choice.
Hi bob . Im representing a local trip planner from Bali Indonesia and im just wondering if you woukd give us a chance ?

Yep, Ubud is a nice place where you can stroll around and visit several good places like temples, rice paddies and all. But if you love the beach, shop, and would like to try the authentic Balinese cuisine, then Seminyak is a great place too. But I got to tell you, 3 days is such a short time. But then, you can visit Bali again soon, and maybe stay longer than 3 days ;-)
My dream is one day to fly to Bali. i hope i will get chance to do that this summer.![]()
hope your dream comes through Icefruit. Thank you all for postings, I am now even
more confused than i was initially but I will figure it out. I know 3 days are short, but i have been to many islands of similar size and I am aware of it.
Icefruit, your dream is just within your reach. You can fulfill it this summer. Plan it out, book your flights and accommodations... then enjoy Bali! Good luck to you both!![]()
The reasons for Indonesia's popularity among tourists are obvious: its volcanic peaks are stunning; its beaches, ideal; its culture, proudly kept alive; and its people are devoutly religious (be they Muslim, Hindu, Buddha, or Christian).
