Me and my friends will go to Full Mooon Party in May 2013 any recommendations ? anyone going there who would like to join us ?

So this is your first time .... Where did u book your hotel ? We booked in the sun rise resort

If you want to stay on Koh Phangan definitely book a hotel. I stayed at the Sun Rise resort and its right in the middle of where the full moon party is. Have friends stay at the Drop Inn resort too, said it was pretty good! A lot of people catch the boat across from Koh Samui during the day of the full moon party and then catch the ferry back in the morning
