:razzIve got both, I got a card from thomas cook but when I loaded some money on to it I found out they charge 2% commish so it took £14 off me and then you get charged withdrawing and then again from thai banks so its actually pretty crap. So ive decided to leave the money ive already loaded on to the cash card and then just use my lloyds card. Beauty of that is I will keep my money in another account (also lloyds) and just transfer it over in bits as and when I need it. That way I only get withdrawl charges. I also figure by doing it this way if it does get nicked or more to the point lost I wont have masses in the account at anyone time.

Im going to take some stirling and change it up there as Ive heard you get a better rate when in the kingdom.

Most of all I've just made sure Ive other avenues of cash if I get stuck. I'm heading over a week tomorrow :). Getting nervous but excited. Whats your plans?

Thanks for that I wont bother getting my self a thomas cook card then ha

Really ? ill bear that in mind aswell when changing money up .

Week tomorrow lucky u ! im leaving on the 13th April not long now !

Im gonna spend a couple of days in Bangkok then most likely head down south for a week or so , then up to Koh Samui see the islands around there .

Then maybe to Changmi then back to Bangkok .

What you planning ?

That will soon fly for you. This week seems to be taking forever. When I arrive on 27th I've a few days in Bangkok then head up to ayutthaya on 31st. I'm there then until mid sept because I'm working there. But after that I'm thinking head to vietnam for a month maybe and then head back south for full moon in oct. Do the islands and just see what happens. Some friends are heading to nz so I may join them. No set plans as such just try to do and see as much as I can.
