Hi, i'm planning a trip to Greece by motorbike.
Is it possible to cross the Serbian border to Kosovo in RASKA?
Are there problems with other borders in the region?
Peter

When I crossed between Serbia and Kosovo a couple of years ago I used that border crossing without any problems... That was by bus, but don't think it's gonna be a lot different on a bike...

It all depends where you're travelling from, but:

The only thing you need to be worry about is that you can't enter Serbia from Kosovo if you have entered Kosovo from anywhere else than Serbia... As the Serbs still consider it a part of their country.. You will have entered without a valid entry stamp (as the Kosovar stamp isn't real to the Serbs) and probably turned back..

Likewise will you not get an Serbian exit-stamp when you're crossing into Kosovo.. Which might or might not become an issue if you try to re-enter Serbia afterwards..

When I travelled the rest of the region was the whole border crossing-thing a pretty laissez-faire... At some borders (e.g. between Bosnia and Montenegro) they didn't even bother with stamping our passports...

I'm not sure, but you will need to show your ID when you cross the border or explain your reasons for visiting.
