Hi, I am travelling alone due to a last min decision to go, first time in thailand and first time solo! I am male, 26 and from London.

Looking at landing to BKK on the 6th July, then after a few days go to CM for 3/4 days before finishing trip in KS, i only have 2 weeks.

If anyone wants to link up/share a tour guide etc in any of these places let me know!

Looking forward to the ziplining/trekking/biking in CM the most.

Hello! I am also travelling alone during July in Thailand and I am looking for travel companion! I didn't take my tickets yet but I guess it will be from July 1st to the 30th.
I am female, 22 and from France.

I plan to visit Bangkok, the region of Chiang Mai (cultural visits, trekking..) in the north and then go down to Phuket and the islands for scubadiving and partying!

Let me know if interested!

Hello all,

Im a solo traveller from Ireland (that first sentence sounds dodgy im not a gypsy lol)

Im arriving in Bangkok on July 9th and am wanting to spend a couple of days in Koh San Road, do some Bangkok sight seeing and then head to Laos as Iv heard there is some mad tubing thing down a river.

Id like to then head down to the islands and be in place for the 24th July for the full moon party, my old housemate from University is actually the resident DJ for the full moon parties (DJ Junglist) and is gonna sort me out with boat trips while down there.

I fly out of Thailand on the 7th July to Sydney so my month is pretty relaxed and go with the flow apart from a couple locations id like to hit.

If anyone is interested in hooking up and doing some of these things together that be great as travelling alone worries me and id like to meet as many new open and like minded people as possible.

Hello all,

If you're looking for Thai people, I'm here. ^^ I live in Chiang Mai (Northern of Thailand). I have the weather information for you.

Between June - October is the rainy season in Thailand so, some national park will be close, especially beach national park because it may be raining all day. Some day have storm and the ferry may be stop.

For my recommendations, You landing in Bangkok and travel around Bangkok to see the culture of Thailand. The place I recommend is the Grand Palace and Floating market, if you like shopping Bangkok is great.

"Don't worry about rainy season because I have one place to present you."

Chiang Mai, the northern province of Thailand - land of mountainous. Many things to do in Chiang Mai (Don't Miss when you visit to Thailand), If you like to adventure, Chiang Mai is the place for you.

I recommend:

- Trekking

- Elephant safari

- Elephant training course - feed elephant, play and learn with them.

- Zipline adventure

- Thai cooking course

- ATV riding

- Doi suthep temple

for Sunday Chiang Mai has Sunday walking street Don't Miss at all ^^ and Enjoy! many many of Thai food.

Hey Guys,

I am going to KL, Malaysia from 14-16 July and 16-20th July, 2013 I would be in Bangkok.

I am travelling alone and I don't really like the idea of being lonely in a foreign place, so I thought some of us could catch up there if anybody's dates co-inside with mine. My trip is short, i agree, but i want to make the fullest out of this trip. I am going in particular to watch Chelsea play against Singha All Star XI in Bangkok on 17th July.

Hope to see a reply from you soon.

Regards,
Abhay Jain.

Hi All!

I'm heading to Thailand between the 5th & 25th of July (haven't booked yet so can be flexible), flying into Bangkok. Hoping to spend 4-6 weeks in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. The guy I was planning to go with has pulled out so I''m either going to have to man up and head over by myself or there's a small chance I may pay a little extra to go on an organised tour.

Planing on having a mix of cultural (sight-seeing) and adventurous activities aswell as some drunken nights. If anybody is after the same sort of trip and is interested in meeting up then get in touch!

I'm 21 and have just graduated from Southampton Uni.

Thanks,
Mike
