Hi Haylee.

Think i'll have a look at flights to Perth to see what the difference is. Have you got your visa and things sorted yet?

Yeh still going solo, I feel like i've planned to much to turn back now and this weather atm just makes me want to go more.

Hey, also doing it alone.

I fly into Brisbane form Malaysia September 30th! no real plan as yet, was polanning on just winging it when i get there and meet some people!

Would quite like to head down to Byron form Brisbane, then head up the East Coast toward Cairns. I'll have to stop fro work occasionally, but that should be fairly easy as I'm planning on joining a childcare agency so can just get day care work as and when i need to :)

Would be good to have a travel buddy along the way!

Give me a shout if you have any similar ideas!

Hi Jen.
Sounds like you have got a good plan for work, I'm hoping I can make it to Sydney before I have to start working but part of me thinks it might be better to start before I get there and do some of the famous fruit picking I've heard so much about :)

Thanks Choley, much appreciated. Hopefully the exchange rate will be a bit better in October.

Hi Haylee,

I am planning on going travelling around OZ by myself around Nov 2013. All my friends have been travelling while I was at Uni and others have said they would come but nothing ever amounts of it so I have decided I am going to go by myself.

I was thinking of starting Adelaide, doing the great ocean road, melbourne, sydney and then upwards to cairnes although I am trying to plan some sort of route I want it to be fairly flexible. Where are you heading? I have got some family in melbourne but I am keen on meeting new people on my travels. I also have a friend staying in Rockhampton who I would also like to go see. Are you planning on working out there?

Would be good to find a travel buddy before I go.

Kim x

if you guys get a chance you should totally go to Cairns its so much fun up there! I went skydiving and snorkleing and visited the rainforest it was one of the best weeks in australia but it was expensive! every night is like the weekend too so dont go there if you want to catch up on rest but i would recommend it!
Have fun traveling!
