Travel makes people sexy. It's all the tanned bodies, buffed by hours of walking around with heavy backpacks and covered by a line layer of sweat, which (in pictures) makes people appear to glow like well-oiled supermodels.

God, and I stop wearing eyeliner by day 2...

Joz, maybe it's just some very talented people manipulating their photos before uploading. The again, you probably missed me in the pic - too busy looking at Mr. Isa! Not buff, not tan, some sweat but no backpack.

Ok ok...I will come clean. The girl in the pic isnt me, it is my roomate. I am a 65 year old transexual in the middle of a sexual identity crisis...

lol-anne! your v.pretty, can i just ask is your hair naturally straight or do you straighten it when your travelling?-what a typical girly question ay!!

Just wondered-because if you straighten it-do you find it a hassle taking straightners away with you! etc.

Thanks for the compliment Lil! You have no idea how many people (women) ask me if my hair is straight or not. But yes, my hair is naturally straight, too straight if there is such thing (I think I inherited that from my oriental genes) and I actually do the opposite and try to make it curly as much as I can. No one is ever happy with their own hair but forget it, if it rains, my hair goes flat and that is NOT a good thing for me.

I wish I can have it curled up for my trip (going to Asia in April) cause it is easier for me to put it up. Disadvantage of having straight hair: not many clips or scrunchies can hold your hair in one place.

Anne, they call it a perm - makes your hair all curly and the clips stay in better too. (I have fine hair so combs and clips don't work worth a damn!)

Perm?? Nooooo, I am not going there again...been there. Hair got burned so it took me years to get it back to normal.

Haven't done the perm or dye thing in several years. It's really hard on your hair, and as you said, takes forever for things to grow out.

my hair was as long as yours and since ive had it cut-probably a coincident-but now my hair is slightly wavy after ive washed it! it used to be dead straight and i always wanted it wavy/slightly curly!

But you always want what you dont have!

oh well...thats the hair issue out of the way then, lol!

With long hair..the weight can actually pull it down, making it straighter. Also...if your prone to headaches...your long hair can actually be the cause. (My brain is filled with useless information)
