my taste changes like the weather, depends on where i am, whats the mood and who i'm with...........

at the moment i'm listening to a mp3 cd with Nina Simone, Anouk, Green Day, Beetles, Chilli Peppers, Aslan, U2, the Clash, Pink Floyd, Pixies, Bob Marley, Lenny Kravitz, Prodigy, Moby,

it might be a bit of a strange mix but i can't remember the rest , theres about 160 tracks on it......

I couldnt survive the day without listening to music. Like Raven, my taste varies wildly from day to day. My CD collection is a bit bizarre - at the moment I'm listening to some bluegrass music. Lined up for the afternoon is Juliette Lewis & the Licks, then some Fleetwood Mac, then some Beatles.

Music is so evocative - I was rummaging around the other day and I pulled out some Massive Attack tunes and it took me right back to last summer, and I ended up spending the day thinking about what I was doing then and the ppl I was with. It's cool that just listening to a song can spark off a load of memories.

I'll stop talking now.

I know exacatly what you both mean...but have you noticed that music you once loved can be turned sour by events and/or people too? (I hate that)They say smell has more memories attached than anything else, music must be a close second...(listening to Wagner's Valkyries at the moment)

Loved Santana until someone "soured" it for me. Has taken years to finally enjoy them again.

I find that bands I didn't like at the time they were popular, I now like immensely. I just don't know how or when the change came but it did. I'm going for the FM mind control theory.

I guess my choice of music depends on my mood. I am feeling pretty country lately so country music it is. But like Eve, I looooove Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles, and most of the music from the 70s...back in the day when artist made good music...

Like areinstein, I'm a big Fleetwood Mac fan.

But at the moment I can't get "Love Foolosophy" by Jamiroquai out of my head.

Is Jamiroquai still alive? He dropped off the face of the earth, here in the US he was like a one-hit wonder. Is he big in Australia James?
