Michsean,

Welcome to my world!!! I've been trying to sell since november in Southampton, but no takers yet (only about 10 viewings) , i swear the population have got together to try and delay me going. Good luck anyway. Hope you manage to sell and get on your trip quicker than i have.

If the agents are anything like they are here (Australia), they'll no doubt inform any potential buyer for you, and tell them to make a really low offer.

When I was living on the poverty line, some theft happened and I lost all my make-up, and also other things. Thus, I decided to stay at my parents' house for a while to be able to properly look for a job in another city. To make a long story shortened, I had all this jewelery that is gold and silver from Nazis, so I sold them to a pawn shop on 16th Avenue and then went shopping, afterwards.

I haven't had to sell anything yet, but man! y'all have given me some great ideas. I can't wait to figure out what I can sell to get some extra cash - I'm leaving in June for England (I'll be there for 6 months)!

just sold my bike, didn't cry though, i won it as a prize so it was an easy few quid.... will have to cash in my savings bonds before too long though and that will hurt as i've managed to scrape by on pennies so many times that i can't believe this time i'm giving in ..... ....i was was going to use them for a bigger trip a few years down the road but i want to go somewhere soon ....

There's an Irish saying, (dont know if you know it or not Nikki)

"Some cow will calve"

Cash in your savings bonds - to hell with it! You'll get the funds for your future trips from somewhere!;)

Eve, I know I could and I should - but it's such a nice security blanket. The monetary equivalent of sucking my thumb...

Is it someone here who said "Trust in life"? Or, maybe that was a TV commercial...

i've decided to cash them in but now i know i have to save even harder next time which is a pain in the neck , also with the current family lectures that i should be saving from a house, i'm trying that too but its on a different priority list....( in the dark recesses of my brain with the cobwebs... ) ;)
