Hey!

22 years old and from Australia. I really want to end up one day living in England - NO IDEA WHERE! Any help would be amazing! I come from a busy city area, packed with international's and lots of apartments/units. I'm hoping to find somewhere a little different. Any ideas for an Australian Nurse?

Thanks :)

Ideally somewhere near your job. Look around and send out some letters to seek employment at a hospital, nursing home or whatever. The recession has tightened jobs up some from several years ago so ideally you should have something ready rather than waiting till you get there. This site might help:

Remember proof of qualifications, references from past employers, etc.

There are some 400,000 Australians living in England, with half living in London, mainly in Earl's Court, Kensington, Hammersmith, Fulham, Shepherds Bush and Putney boroughs.

London is an expensive place to live (but then again, Australia is not cheap).

Thank you so much for your reply! Fantastic. That website is amazing, thank you so much!

I knew there were quite a few aussies over there, but did not realise so many! I hope to end up somewhere with not so many, but I definitely agree with you, ideally I should be getting something ready before.

Thank you once again!
