LOL Maybe you should join a running forum too Mike, then you can warn everyone not to run a marathon in case they might get killed.

I guess the main difference between us is, you haven't been to Asia in years, and get your information from others on the internet. And I'm actually here!

Hey,

Thanks for imput everyone, I have sorted a place to stay and as I live here and i'm short on time I decided I am going to fly down . Easier for me! But will take both view points when I travel around more. Serious though guys you BOTH always offer good advice and BOTH have things to bring to the table but I was asking for advice on places to stay and as usually is the case on these forums we get side tracked. So enough of the bickering (as amusing as it is for me) lol and respect eachothers view points. Thats the great thing about humans, we are individual and all entitled to own opinions weather the other party agrees or no.
:)

Totally Katie.
I like to wind people up on forums as a sick form of entertainment, so forgive me. Mike of course likes to take the bait! hehe.

Quoting Dodger

I like to wind people up on forums as a sick form of entertainment, so forgive me.

You do realize that in that way you're busily undermining the friendly and helpful atmosphere which is generally lauded as one of travellerspoint's best features? ("No inflammatory remarks" is even explicitly in the forum rules.) It's possible to keep disagreements factual and friendly, so how about you keep the purposeful baiting to forums which tolerate it, and behave a bit better here?

Sometimes it's best to just agree to disagree, but by all means, let's keep it friendly when doing so folks
