Does anyone remember Oscar in Sesame Street - he lived in the beat up old dustbin? He was my hero until he was replaced by Macgyver.;)

Who was yours?

Captain Kangeroo for quite awhile. Then really wanted to tag along with Paladin from "Have Gun Will Travel", Sky King (from "Sky King") coz you got to ride horses and fly a plane, and Roy Rogers was my absolute fav - good looking and Trigger was a beauty. I wanted to be Dale Evan's replacement coz she was sooooo boring and whiny!

ohhh i loved Macgyver, i had picked out the wedding dress and kids names by the time the second series came out, (my mom thought she had more of a chance then me, it was less of an age difference ) but i used to tell everyone i was cinderella and that i should have been an only child, my sisters and brother shouted more so i was convinced they got more attention ( i was wrong ),

I know - he was great! I bought my Dad a penknife just like Macgyer's...Dad never fought his way out of a padded cell using only a piece of a clothesline, a paperclip, and a flare though.....

I identified most with my favorite aunt. She was my mothers youngest sister...My mother worked all the time so anytime I needed a 'stand in mom' for school functions etc...she was it! But better because she wasn't much older than me.

TV wise...I was positive I was going to marry Mike from the Monkees....

i used to rip the sheets on the bed to make an escape rope for Jack and me , (my sister used to always steal my teddy - jack)and if i was ever questioned ''but i'm proving myself to my future hubby........ he wants me to be free ''

i have to say i was so jealous of his escape techniques though,.....you'd look at the room and see nothing but he could create an explosive and open the door..... ahhhh what a man ;)

I had a thing for Bo Duke from The Dukes of Hazard. I even had a big poster of John Schneider in my room - I can still remember his thumbs looped through the belt holes in his jeans... gRRRrrrr.....

Have you seen him lately??? He's been smelling too much Wite-Out!! I knew tha stuff wasn't good for ya!

I liked Peter Tork. Had a real crush on Peter Noone (Herman of Herman's Hermits) at age 12. And, George Harrison was the only Beatle for me until his passing. (Something about a nice schnoz... down plays the size of my own I guess.)

Ha! You do know his mother invented White-out right?
I always loved John...he was sooo misunderstood, but George was a close second...the quiet ones will always surprise you;)
Does anyone remember Electawoman and Dynagal?
