Wow Karate Kid Raven...good for you! I took karate for many years when I was a kid, somehow I dont think that will do me any good anymore. I've only been in two fights and all I can say is that I didnt lose hehehehe...

I'm one of those sad creatures that cant defend themselves in any situation - i make a sort of high-pitched Miss Piggy "Hiiiii-yaaaaa" sound, fling an arm or a leg in the direction of my attacker/opponent, spin around to survey the damage I have wreaked, and the other person is standing there whistling or examining his nails or something and hasnt even felt the blow. Meanwhile I've broken some bone or other.

Well you better take some classes from Raven, for the sounds of your Asia post, you may need it in India.
I havent been there personally but a friend went last year and she didnt mention having any problems at all and believe me, if that would have happened to her, she would have told me how many people she had to whack in the process. I think they pretty much stay away from Westerners...it is the same case in South America. The only thing you have to worry about in South America is petty theft...

Ev, If you do want lessons though I have taught before (okay they were under tens but they're lethal !! hehehee ).....can teach you in the pub when we meet up..... was thinking if you can't make Dublin what about at the Willie Clancey festival ??? the locals will have more then they bargained for ..

thats would be great !!! do you have anywhere to stay ? i have a couch as long as you don't mind cats .... (you have to keep your money for that trip )

That's sound Nikki - thanks. But my brother is living in Smithfield so I'll stay with him - this is all assuming he's there that wknd but I'm the older one so I'm sure I can bully him into submission;)

hehe little brothers can be so handy sometimes, my one moves into our apt everytime i go away to look after the pets.... ....as long as i don't ask him what he was doing we get on fine
