I think the deer would still be worse off, the biker would fly off, somewhere... the deer would still get 100kg at 120km/h into the gut.

BUT if you were on a bicycle the deer would just watch you go by, the sun would be shining over the horizen then it would stop and eat some grass....

Hahaha, good one! So the moral to the story is get a bike and the world will be a better happier place?

I've seen it...if you hit the deer at 60mph, the bike stops, but YOU keep going..it isn't pretty.
It would be great to ride a bicycle to work, but I was doing 194 miles round trip to work everyday..avg. 4 hours driving...I think it would have taken too long to pedal.

I would recommend moving a wee bit closer to your daily activites...

If you end up working in AZ, I hope it isnt that far from your home...no wonder you were an avid bycicle rider

It just wasn't an option. But I wouldn't recommend a commute that long to anyone!!
