flying into Cairns on the 7th April and making my way down to Sydney. Then over to NZ, where I fly in and out of Auckland.
My question is, how would you split that time between Oz and Nz? if its really going to mean that i dont have long enough in NZ then maybe i should change my flights and spend more time in Oz, and do NZ another time?
what do you think, bearing in mind when im going to be in each country too.
Flying outy of Auckland on the 18th June (over to Santiago.)
Forgot to say!
looks like a fun trip
i am planning a similar one myself!
from what ive picked up nz is a lot lot smaller than oz so maybe split time 70/30??
who did u book ure ticket with and how much was it if you dont mind me asking?
My flight ticket is an around the world one with STA. Its 5 stops and a pretty decent cost.
If you are only plannning to do the stretch between cairns and sydney, I would allow maybe 4 weeks in aus and four in nz, two weeks in the north two in the south, north island is a lot warmer than the south island, may is decidedly chilly in the south. Both countries are great, speaking as an aussie now living in NZ.
