I'm planning to go with my best friend (2 girls) to Australia on Dec. 2013. We are thinking of going to Fiji and maybe New Zealand and spending new years in Sydney as well. We would be leaving from New York. I would love to see what kind of advices you get on this blog.
Read you later :-)
I am also travelling solo, I'm arriving in Sydney Dec 28th (cutting it fine to make friends before NYE, eek!) have booked in to Base for a week for when I arrive..and then I'm just going to see what happens :D nervous but excited!
I am travelling from london to new zealand for a month then on to figi for 10 nights then over to sydney for about 2/3 weeks over xmas and the new year, we are thinking of booking to stay at base, have read some reviews and it dosn't seem to bad. Has anyone got any good ideas for NYE?
I will be arriving in Sydney late November and staying there over NYE too, then working my way up the East Coast Need some advice on where to go on NYE though!
i am in brisbane beginning of december considering either going down the coast then back up or go up the coast as soon as i get into going straight up the coast
December is the beginning of the wet season up north (which lasts through March). This features high humidity, heavy rain showers, and frequent floodings (you might remember this being in the news about Brisbane several times over the last few year). So I'd recommend first going down the coast, and being very leisurely about it before going up.
