I've been looking for the best rtw ticket for a 23 year old, the problem is i can only find information for people from the US or UK.
Anyone from Canada have an idea of how much it would cost? My plans are vancouver-hong kong-bangkok-bali-brisbane-auckland-mexico-vancouver. would it be cheaper to leave from LA? or to go overland from hong kong to bali and then take a plane to australia?Has anyone done a similar route? any help would be much appreciated thanks

Hi Sianne,

Try the Star Alliance. Air Canada is part of the mix, along with something like 16 other airlines from around the world. I don't know if they're the cheapest way to book RTW flights or the most convenient to use, but it'll give you a start.

Hope that helps!

Tway.

I haven't looked into that for 10 years or so but remember that with the rtw tickets you usually have to go in one direction around the world with no doubling back. So you will have to keep going West from LA. Go down to a travel agent or call one, they will be able to fill you in. If your going to go to all of those places you may want to look at rtw tickets on Cathay Pacific, they are based from Hong Kong and fly to all those location.
