hey samsara2!
DO IT!! be a music teacher, i mean, what have you got to lose, right? If you are thinking of settling down in a place while traveling (even just for a couple weeks or a month), then why don't you post advertisements around where you're staying, or even on the internet?
It worked for my mom, who's an ESL teacher in Madrid, Spain, so I'm sure it can work for you too!
Have fun!

Quoting james

Wouldn't it be better to teach piano to travel rather than teach piano whilst travelling? I can only imagine it being more bother than what it's worth.

Yeah, well I have been teaching to travel....it's really helped me to increase the travel fund thus far (money under the counter, etc. ;) )

But it's coming to the end of the term...my students are all sitting their exams next month and then I'm finishing up at the end of April.

It probably would be more bother than anything but I'm thinking of spending 3-4 months in Australia so I started thinking about the possibility of teaching for a bit....the more I think about it, the more it seems unlikely...but it was interesting to get everyone's thoughts on it.

Thanks,

E;)
