Instead of Paris, Venice, Rome I recommend you to choose something different. That's what my husband I did. We went to Belgrade, Serbia for our honeymoon. All our friends thought it was a strange choice, but we had a great time. If you're planning to go then Ada, Kalemegdan, Gardos and Skadarlija (very romantic) are a must see. We found our accommodation - Belgrade apartment through a website (-snip-) and it was great - fully furnished and equipped. You can also book a room in a hotel. There are great hotels in Belgrade, but in my opinion they are a bit expensive, plus we value our privacy so short term rental was the best choice for us. Also, if you love grilled meat, you must visit "Cica" and "Duff". Cheap but exclusive meals :)!

There are plenty of romantic cities in Europe, so you will have a difficult job choosing just one of them. My top recommendations would be: Venice, Rome, Bruges, Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Barcelona. Paris is a beautiful city, but I think it's too overrated.

Most of my faves have been mentioned and they're all excellent choices but in case it hasn't Brussels would be on my list. Some great places to eat and good public green spaces in which to chill!
