If a woman makes more money than her husband, how do you think it will affect their relationship?

It shouldn't. Unless she's on the game. That would probably annoy me

If my husband was earning more than me it wouldnt bother me, so it shouldnt bother him if the situations were reversed I suppose. I'm sure that as long as I kept telling him what a stallion he was in bed he'd forget all about it.

Wait...

I dont have a husband.....

I think it takes a very confident, self-assured man to be "ok" with it and not let it affect the relationship. I am not ashamed to admit that I make more money than the hubby, although not a ton more and he is quite happy with the situation and would love to quit his job in a couple of years and become Mr. Mom if kids ever come. It doesnt bother either one of us but I've noticed other people usually state their opinions very loud and clear about the subject. I say, to each their own so mind your own!

Some women do get taken for a ride though... This isnt acceptable so in those cases I guess the relationship will be affected somehow sooner or later.

I would think today's men would be ecstatic if their women earned more than them. I was under the impression that "the man brings home the bacon" went out the window with "no (add colour/nationality here), please".
