Hi Chloe, This itinerary sounds amazing, I'm also 20 year old female going by myself for a month but in September, such a shame were not going at the same time. Have an amazing time and if you have any tips let me know!

Hi Chloe!!

I'm visiting my friends in Thailand from the 20th of August. I'm planning to stay there for a week and then I wanted to go to Cambodia, espesially to angkor wat. If you still have plans to go to Cambodia reply to me) I'm 21-year-old female from Russia

Hi, Chloe.

I travelled Thailand solo last year (October 2012 for 2 weeks) and it was my first time travelling alone too. Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. About 70% of the people I met there were travelling alone - stay in hostels and it is easy to meet others who are like minded. I was a little nervous too when I arrived in bangkok but from me arriving, it was a week later before I actually got anytime to myself!

Chiang Mai was probably my favourite place. I also went to the Full Moon Party on Koh Phanghan. I found that it's who you go to the full moon party with that will influence how good a time you will have there - I met some quality people! The FMP is fun but I wouldn't go out my way to attend it again - it was a good night out but you will have loads of good times on your travels. Don't get caught up in the hype of the FMP and you will probably enjoy it more. I think my expectations were a bit too high.

You will have an awesome time!

Lee x

hey.

so im flying out to KL, malaysia September 10th on an extended three week stop over before heading to Brisbane September 30th. My rough plan is to get an internal flight up to Bangkok and then work my way down (potentially by catamaran- lumprayah catamaran cost about £30!) to full moon party. the heading back probs via train to KL fro my flight over to Oz.

would be eally good to meet some people - especially for the full moon party as being a female solo traveller thaat bit seems a bit daunting - crazy exciting - but still daunting!

:)
