Do you appreciate what you have OR do you complain about what you don't have?

The former, definitely.

I definitely appreciate what I have in my life...I am surrounded with so many wonderful things it is just amazing to feel how lucky I am. Could I have more and strive for more? Of course, I do. But only to fulfill other dreams yet to be completed...;)

I do stay away from the whiners and complainers...bad negative energy

I complain about not having quiet when I really need it. Does that count?

I'd Like to think that I appreciate what I have. Do I want more? Of course! That's human nature as far as I know. I try not complain about anything if I can help it. That just irritates people and certainly doesn't gain anyones respect.

I am happy with what I have and if I want something more I would try to get it rather than complain.
But I developed a certain attitude of not expecting/wanting anything - so everything I get exceeds my expectations.
I learned during the 10 weeks in Africa how little you actually really need - and how good it feels to get some luxury after weeks of bare necessities - especially having a toilet which you can sit on and a hot shower!

...hence through traveling we are able to appreciate that much more all the good and great things in our lives...it certainly changes our perspective in life and it teaches us on how to differentiate our needs from our wants. Another reason to be added to the question of WHY TRAVEL?
