Hello,

Im trying to find out if I can stay working for an Agency for longer than the six month maximum time on the working holiday visa?

I work as a Audio Video and Stage production technician and I am hired out to companies through an agency who get paid by the client and then in turn pay me. does this count as working for one company?

I also go for weeks and sometimes months without any work from an agency.

Thank you for your help :0)

You can work for more than six months through this agency, as long as any one direct customer never sees more than six months of you.
From the department of immigration's page on work obligations:

If you are referred by an agency or labour supplier to a business, you can work for six months for that business. The same agency or labour supplier can refer you to another business where you can work for another six months. You cannot stay in the same position with an employer for more than six months by using different employment agencies, business affiliates or sub-contracting arrangements.
